Earlier this year (July 2017), I held a cartoon contest and picked one winner randomly. Meet Rebecca Feiring, DVM's kids! Rebecca is a huge advocate of adoption and her three munchkins were all in need of a home before joining Rebecca’s family.
Rayne —a Rottie mix —is from Devore, a high-kill shelter in California. On the day she was scheduled to be killed—with less than an hour to spare—Rebecca coordinated with a local rescue who was able to pull Rayne from the shelter. She loves playing with her toys and snuggling with her mom and dad.
Staples was abandoned by his original owner. He loves chewing everything and eating baked apple biscuits.
Zorro was about to be euthanized because he was FIV+, so Rebecca swooped in and took him home immediately. He’s been a fantastic little companion ever since and he loves hanging out on his “catio”.
