Thank you so much for a great educational poster. I live in Rarotonga, Cook Islands and fireworks are banned with only controlled exhibitions allowed (we don’t have 4th July only general Christmas, NYs and our country’s significant celebrations). I used to adore watching the night light up and hear the noise etc with excitement. Until I grew up and fell in love with a rescue dog along my beach 7 years ago. Everything suddenly changed as i became aware of my environment and my dog’s place in it. I’ve always had animals but never really thought much on how things really affected them. I now dread any fireworks display notice as not many think of their animals. 99% of Rarotonga is unfenced with mainly garden hedges separating houses so it’s common to have missing animals the day after these events. Thank you for reminding me of the dangers fireworks pose during celebrations.

Thank you so much for all of these. They are great! It is terrible where I live as the fireworks as well as loud bombing sounds start here in March & pretty much go all summer long. Some nights are just as bad as the 4th of July of not worse. We have 3 dogs. 1 is really terrified the other is scared, but not bad. The 3rd dog is fine.
I feel so bad for all that are terrified. It breaks my heart. You are a wonderful artist Amy. I love all your work. Thank you again for sharing & caring. ❤️🐾

I love these reminders. Using your lovely art for the good of our pets (and a LOT of us humans!) I will share these at the office where I live, and find out if I will be allowed to put them on the community mailboxes. Thanks so much for caring about our best friends!

We are extremely lucky to have a dog that tolerates loud noises but we know most animals hate/are terrified of them. I always try to educate people about fireworks & animals, thanx for a great graphic to share.
